What does this piece say about learning? How do you conned this piece to the expectations in class?
this piece is saying that to learn you must know why you are learning otherwise it seems as if there is no purpose to learning it at all. Without a purpose to learning you will not strive to do your best and find your "drum kit". Although succeeding feels great, you will never get there unless you make mistakes and learn from them. Making mistakes isn't bad. If anything its a good thing because you can learn from what you did wrong to succeed. This relates to our expectations in class because we can't be afraid to make mistakes and we have to understand why we are learning something to be able to excel at it. Being comfortable with the people you are in class with is an important part to succeeding in your studies. If we are comfortable in our learning environment and we understand why we are learning the material success will come much easier.
